Indian men seriously injured in Limassol gang fight

Two young Indian men were seriously injured on Thursday night in Limassol after being attacked and stabbed by five other Indians, a police report said.

According to the report, the two men, 27 and 21, were rushed to the Limassol general hospital at around 8pm Thursday.

The 27-year-old, police said, who had deep stabbing wounds on his chest and stomach, was intubated and underwent surgery.

The 21-year-old, stabbed in the stomach, is also scheduled for surgery.

Police announced they are treating the case as attempted murder and cited witness testimony that the two victims were assaulted by a group of five individuals.
