President to meet Emmanuel Macron in Paris on Monday

President Nicos Anastasiades will return on Wednesday

President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades will hold talks in Paris on Monday afternoon with French President Emmanuel Macron.

The meeting will examine the latest developments in the Cyprus issue, bilateral relations with emphasis on energy and defence matters, Euro – Turkish relations and regional issues. The two leaders will then make statements to the press.

President Anastasiades is accompanied by Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides and Government Spokesman Nikos Christodoulides.

The President will visit on Monday the Louvre where Cypriot antiquities are exhibited. He will also give interviews to French media.

On Sunday he met with officials from TOTAL energy company which is active in Cyprus’ EEZ.

The Cypriot President returns home early on Tuesday.
