President Nicos Anastasiades departs Thursday for Athens to attend the EU-Arab Summit, taking place on November 9 and 10, in the Greek capital.
According to an announcement, the president will meet at 8.30am local time with Greek President, Prokopis Pavlopoulos, at the presidential palace. He will meet, at 11.30am, with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras at the Megaros Maximos.
The EU-Arab Summit will cover geopolitical developments in the EU and the Arab world, as well as cooperation on energy, transport, maritime and education matters and investments.
Anastasiades will address the summit on EU relations with the Arab world and the role of Cyprus as a bridge for cooperation.
The first summit took place in Athens last November.
Government spokesman Nicos Christodoulides will accompany the resident, who returns to Cyprus on Thursday evening.
