Anastasiades to participate in Southern European Summit

President Nicos Anastasiades is set to depart for Rome on Wednesday to attend the 4th Southern European Summit.

Amongst the states attending are Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Malta.

The aim of the summit is to solidify the relationship amongst the members, whilst addressing key European issues. These include the completion of the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU), the evaluation of the current immigration policy and to share their vision regarding macroeconomic expansion.

Anastasiades will be accompanied by the government spokesman Nicos Christodoulides.
