Brewers deliver 38m litres of beer to domestic markets

Local breweries delivered 38.3m litres of beer to the domestic market last year, which is 4.8 per cent more compared to 2016, the statistical service said.

Beer exports rose 22 per cent to 1.1m litres, Cystat said in a statement on its website on Tuesday.

The quantity delivered to the domestic market last year, in which Cyprus are expected to hit around 3.7 tourist arrivals beating all other previous records, is the highest since 2008, according to Cystat. The quantity exported is the highest since 2007.
