€18,500 in cash stolen from Paphos house

Unknown perpetrators reportedly broke into a house in Paphos and stole the equivalent of €18,566 on Sunday evening.

A Chinese woman, a permanent resident of Paphos, reported to police that while she was absent between 5pm and 8pm €10,000, $10,000 and 500 yuan were stolen from the residence.

Officers at the scene found that the thieves entered by forcing the door open with a sharp object.

Various objects were seized to facilitate investigations.
