Arrest over phone theft

Paphos police on Tuesday arrested a 48-year-old man in connection with the theft of a phone worth €700.

According to police, a hotel employee had reported a few days ago that his mobile phone was stolen from his workplace.

A witness statement against his colleague, the 48-year-old suspect, led to his subsequent arrest. He denies any implication with the case.
