Kronos founder Athinis dies aged 62

Businessman Pantelis Athinis died on Wednesday after two weeks in hospital where he was being treated for a brain aneurysm.

Aged 62, his field of work was centered around circulating and printing material and was the founder of Kronos Press Agency.

He suffered a brain aneurysm on January 28 in Nicosia and was transferred to Ygia hospital in Athens for two weeks where he died.

Limassol-born Athinis also owned Pathin trading ltd company profile and several of his enterprises involved distributing foreign press in Greece.

Athinis hailed from Kilani village where he was born in 1956.

He leaves behind his wife, two children and five grandchildren. Details surrounding his funeral have not been released yet.
