Weather expected to clear late Tuesday

Cyprus woke up to bad weather on Tuesday though it is expected to improve late in the afternoon, the Met office said.

Rain, storms, and hail were forecast for the morning, but by late afternoon the weather will change.

It will still be cloudy but the skies will clear by Wednesday morning. During the following days, there will be mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures.

On Tuesday maximum temperatures will be around 23C inland and in coastal areas and 11C in the mountains.

Temperatures will fall to 10C in most parts of the island and 4C in Troodos at night.

Dust levels are low at the moment but they may rise in the next days.
