Employers fined, illegal workers arrested in Paphos

Police and immigration officers arrested five people and fined three employers on Tuesday in an effort to clamp down on illegal employment in Paphos.

The officers inspected premises which are being renovated and arrested four persons for working illegally and one for presenting forged documents.

The three employers of the arrested persons were fined €17,500 in an out-of-court settlement.
