Spring is definitely the best time to see Rome. Temperatures are mild and the streets are filled with tourists and locals visiting the many places of interest and staying out late enjoying the city’s varied nightlife out the typical summer heat and without experiencing the rain and cold of winter.

Many say that Rome is the most beautiful city in the world, a place to visit at least once in a lifetime.

During the summer, moving around the city can be a bit more difficult because Rome public transport has a reduced summer schedule. Visitors can, however avoid this problem sometimes by turning to convenient and efficient private transport services such as

But ideally, spring is the best time of the year for sightseeing Rome’s most important monuments: the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Circus Maximus, Piazza Venezia, San Pietro, the Vatican Museums, the Gianicolo and all other places of interest.
Spring is also best for organising a trip out of town to visit places such as the Castelli Romani for example, where you can admire unique landscapes and taste delicious dishes. Or Ostia, the sea of Rome which is about 30 kilometres from the capital.
There are so many places and attractions to visit in Rome and surroundings that it would not take a whole month to visit them all. The ancient monuments of the city are a constant reminder of a past era, of a glorious history when the Eternal City was the centre of the world and of Western civilization.
