Man jailed 15 days for speeding

A 27-year-old man from Paphos was jailed for 15 days on Thursday after he was caught driving almost three times higher the speed limit in a residential area.

The man also had his licence suspended for three months and was given five penalty points.

The 27-year-old was caught by police in February last year driving at 126 km/h on stretch of road on Tombs of the Kings Avenue where the legal limit is 50km/h.
