Police seize arms, steroids

Acting on a tip-off, police on Friday evening found and seized arms and munitions, as well as steroids, at an open area in Nicosia.

According to police, officers dispatched to the scene in Tseri found an improvised device containing a small quantity of explosive, a Flobert gun with a silencer, an air pistol with a silencer, a number of 7.62mm calibre rounds, a couple of other rounds, and six glass containers with liquid believed to be steroids.

The items were transferred to the police lad for further examination.
