Ukrainian tourist dies in Ayia Napa

A 65-year-old Ukrainian man died on Monday morning after a swim in the sea of Ayia Napa.

Vasyl Voychuk was coming out of the sea at the Pantahou beach when he lost consciousness and fell in the water.

An ambulance rushed him to a private clinic where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The exact cause of death will be determined by a post-mortem.

The 65-year-old had come to Cyprus for holiday on May 25 until the end of this week.
