Burglary and car theft in Paphos

The home of a British permanent resident in Paphos was burglarised while away on holidays, and the car stolen, police said on Sunday.

Items worth €2,700, including a computer, were taken along with the car worth around €3,000. The resident had returned home on Saturday, having left the island on May 1, to find the apartment had been broken into.

The stolen car was a green Mitsubishi with the registration number KAA193. It had been parked at the block of flats.
