Food-delivery man beaten and robbed in Nicosia

A fast-food delivery employee was beaten and robbed, and his motorcyle stolen on Saturday night in Nicosia, police said.

The 22-year-old said he was in an area of Aglandjia to deliver an order and had stopped to call the person who ordered the food when he was approached by a man in a hoodie while another man came up behind him and threw him down on the ground after grabbing him by the neck.

The two perpetrators kicked and beat him while he was on the ground and took his money and the motorcycle.
