Paphos is in the lead as the most popular district for overseas buyers from Europe and Non-Europeans by 40.2% in comparison to Limassol which follows with 29.6%. Larnaca is 3rd with 14.2% and lastly Famagusta with 10.7 % and Nicosia with just 5.3%.
During the first five months of 2018, a total of 1,802 property sales contracts were deposited by overseas buyers, with 539 deposited by EU nationals and 1263 by non-EU nationals.
The area of Paphos is once again becoming the new attraction for European and Non-European buyers and entrepreneurs. The town of Paphos and the entire province is the safest and most secure area on the Island, where one can live, work and holiday.
The perfect climate along with the new cosmopolitan culture in the region has increased the turnout of foreign buyers and investors. Paphos was identified a few months ago as the best city to buy a summer holiday home abroad.
