Bomb hoax prompts evacuation of Limassol court

Limassol district court was in disarray on Monday morning after a bomb hoax.

According to police, shortly after 9am, an anonymous caller said there was a bomb in court which prompted an immediate evacuation of the premises.

Police cordoned off the area and dogs were brought to the scene to try and locate the mystery device.

Nothing was found and court sessions proceeded as normal.
