Harmonised inflation rate seen at 1% in May, Cystat says

The harmonised consumer price index rose in May an annual 1 per cent compared to a year before mainly on more expensive energy products, the statistical service said.

Compared to the month before, the harmonised consumer price index rose 1.4 per cent last month, Cystat said in a statement on its website on Friday.

In January to May, the annual harmonised inflation rate was 0.3 per cent, Cystat said.
