Two injured when car hit bus in Protaras

Two people were slightly injured on Saturday when their vehicle was involved in an accident involving another car and a bus in Protaras, in the Famagusta district.

The accident occurred at around 2pm when a rental car with the two people inside, hit another vehicle in the opposite lane as the driver attempted to turn into another street.

One of the two cars crashed into a tourist bus that was stopped at the intersection of the street, leading to the slight injury of the two passengers in the rental car.

There were no passengers in the bus, police said, while investigations are underway to find out which car collided with the bus.

The two injured people were taken to hospital.
