Kiosk worker accused of stealing thousands from boss

An employee of a kiosk in the Famagusta area was arrested on Thursday evening after her employer reported to police that she stole money and goods worth €27,430.

The kiosk owner, a 49-year-old man, told police his 33-year-old employee sold goods without entering the sale in the cash register and also took money.

The employee was arrested under a warrant and is being detained pending further investigations.
