Two supermarket staff remanded over missing €22,000

Two employees at Limassol supermarket were remanded for eight days on Sunday by the district court after they were accused of embezzling over €22,000 from their employer.

The woman aged 19 and 23, are accused of taking €22,167 between March and October this year.

Their boss reported the theft once he discovered that supermarket takings were missing. The women are facing charges of conspiracy to commit a felony, theft and money laundering.
