200 hours of community service for football hooligan

An 18-year-old youth who was arrested last year for hooliganism at a football game was sentenced on Friday by the Limassol district court to 200 hours of community service, and two years’ supervision.

The18-year-old Nicosia resident was arrested on 11 December 2017, following clashes that broke out among fans during a football game between AEL and Apoel.

The court found the 18-year-old old guilty of charges of public nuisance and possessing and carrying a dangerous object.
