French ambassador marks Armistice Day in Cyprus

The French ambassador and the French Consul in Larnaca on Sunday attended a service to honour the war dead held at the Catholic cemetery in Larnaca.

To mark 100 years since the end of WWI a soldier then read out a message from French President Emmanuel Macron before wreaths were laid by the consul Sozos Christos Theodoulou and French ambassador Rene Trokaz.

Trokaz also attended a service that is held every year at the military cemetery within the Buffer Zone.
