Three fires in Paphos brought under control

One of the three fires that broke out in the Paphos area on Sunday all have been brought under control, fore service spokesman Andreas Kettis said.

He said that two fire engines from the Stroumbi station has attended one of two blazes in Arodes as had two helicopters.

A fire has also been reported in the area of Lara which members of the forestry department put out.

In total, the three fires destroyed 16 decares dried and wild plants.
