Over 1,000 OUC grads to receive diplomas

Some 1,020 graduates of the Open University of Cyprus (OUC) will receive their diploma at the 11th graduation ceremony to be held on November 15 and 16.

On November 15, in the presence of House speaker Dimitris Syllouris, the graduates of the school of humanities and social sciences and of the school of pure & applied sciences will receive their degrees.

On November 16, the Minister of Education and Culture, Costas Hambiaouris, will attend the event. He will read the address of President Nicos Anastasiades, and the graduates of the school of economics and management will receive their degrees.

The two events will be addressed by the head of the board Charalambos Prountzos and the Rector of OUC Professor Socrates Katsikas. The graduation ceremony will take place at the Hilton Park Hotel in Nicosia.

Entrance to the ceremony is only allowed to invitees. The event will be broadcast live online. Details of the graduation are available at http://www.ouc.ac.cy/web/guest/other/teleti2018.
