Neapolis joins forces with EP

Joint initiatives were agreed between the university and the EP office in Cyprus

The University of Neapolis Paphos and the European Parliament’s office in Cyprus are joining forces.

A meeting between Andreas Kettis, head of the European Parliament office in Cyprus, with the Rector of the University of Neapolis Paphos, Professor Pantelis Sklias, members of the academic and administrative staff, as well as representatives of the students, was held recently.

Emphasis was placed on the contribution of the University of Neapolis to inform young people and the local community about key issues in the European Union with a view to increase participation in the upcoming European elections.

The rector of the university confirmed the institution’s willingness to play an important role in informing students and the local community about the importance of the European elections and European institutions in general. Joint initiatives were agreed between the University of Neapolis Paphos and the European parliament office in Cyprus.
