The website of the Solidarity Movement was attacked by hackers operating in Albania, the party announced on Thursday.

Visitors to the website – www.allilegii.com – will find that the contents look normal with all the material posted over the past three years until Wednesday, though the party claims that no new announcements can be added to the site.

The case has been reported to the cybercrime unit of the police, the party said.

In November last year, the personal website of the party’s leader and MEP, Eleni Theocharous, was attacked by a Turkish hacker group, who redirected visitors to a video featuring speeches of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
