Accident closes two lanes on Nicosia-Limassol highway

Three people were taken to Limassol general hospital after an accident occurred at around 2pm on Monday on the Nicosia-Limassol highway, police said.

The accident occurred in the Parekklisia area of the Nicosia-Limassol highway on the way to Limassol, leaving both lanes closed for at least one hour. By 3pm police said that officers had yet to arrive at the scene to move the crashed cars to the side of the highway. The highway was reopened by 5pm

According to the police, three people were injured in the accident, and had been transported to the Limassol general hospital.
