Cyprus Bridge seminar a great success

The Cyprus Bridge Federation (CBF) organised a very successful three-day Bridge seminar conducted by a professional Bridge teacher and trainer from Greece, Christina Syrakopoulou.

The seminar took place at the Nicosia Bridge Club from November 30 until December 2 and 26 participants from the Bridge Clubs of Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca, as well as a representative from Lefkara attended.

It was an excellent opportunity for those taking part to improve their knowledge and strategic skills in Bridge.

Several conventions were taught throughout the three days with tests and circulars included in the seminar.

The participants appreciated the hard work carried out by the CBF Board who are trying to improve the standard of Bridge playing in Cyprus.

Bridge is a mind sport which is becoming increasingly more popular in Cyprus, and several overseas Bridge players visit the island every year to play Bridge.

The CBF hope to arrange more frequent seminars for its members. People who are interested in learning this wonderful mind sport can contact the secretary at the Cyprus Bridge Federation ([email protected]) and take a training course in one of the Cyprus Clubs.
