Akinci undergoes minor surgery, told to rest

Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci underwent surgery for polyps on Sunday and has been discharged from hospital, CNA reported on Monday.

Akinci was operated on at a hospital in Famagusta. Citing Kibris Postasi, CNA said the Turkish Cypriot leader was deemed to be in good health, discharged from the hospital in the afternoon and was told to rest.
