BoC takes American Academy students on a historical journey

Bank of Cyprus (BoC) visited the American Academy Nicosia recently to take students on a 120-year journey with the guidance of BoC’s compliance director, Marios Skandalis. His presentation to the secondary school students of economics, business and accounting revealed various historical events of the island and how the intervention of the bank helped to overcome difficult situations such as the 2013 financial crisis. The students were thrilled with the information provided, as well as the presentation in which the storytelling was magnified through a screen in a suitcase and the narration of the actor.
