Missing Polis woman’s car found (Updated)

Police announced they were looking for Eleni Plakidi, 69, who has been missing from her home in Polis Chrysochous since Thursday afternoon.

Friends and relatives and police spent Friday searching for her and her car was found in the afternoon, locked, near a beach in the area. Plakidi is a German national married to a Cypriot.

Anybody who has information which can help locate her is asked to contact Polis Chrysochous police station at 26-806280, any other police station, or call 112, 199 or the citizen’s hotline at 1460.
