Search resumes for missing woman

Crews resumed their search on Monday morning for a missing 69-year-old woman from Paphos who was last seen on Thursday.

Eleni Plakidi, left her home in Argaka on Thursday afternoon to go to a kiosk and has been missing since. Her family said she has been experiencing memory loss in recent days.

The woman’s car was found near the Akamas coast, stuck in the mud and locked.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact Polis Chrysohous police on 26806280, or their nearest police station or the emergency numbers 112 and 199 and public hotline 1460.
