Hellenic launches second mobile banking unit, 27 communities now covered

Hellenic Bank has launched a second mobile banking unit covering an additional 15 communities to bring the total to 27 that do not have easy access to branches.

In an announcement, the Bank said that following the successful operation of the first Mobile Banking Unit, which since November has served 12 communities in various areas, a second mobile unit has started routes covering another 15.

According to the bank, the route of the new Mobile Banking Unit covers the communities of Palodia, Paramytha, Spitali, Fasoula, Orounda, Mitsero, Klirou, Pera Oreni, Kambia, Kapedes, Nikitari, Vyzakia, Ayia Marina, Alhambra, Mosfiloti.

It added that with the two mobile units in operation, Hellenic now offers its services to people who live in 27 communities and have no easy access to bank branches.

“Mobile units have the capability of simultaneously serving both Hellenic Bank and former Co-op customers,” it said, adding that the units are “designed and built to European security standards and complies with all specifications to provide excellent service while demonstrating respect for the environment”.
