Police seize 1 kg of cannabis, arrest two men

Police on Sunday said they have arrested two men aged 36 and 21 in Limassol and are searching for the whereabouts of another man, 29, in connection with the alleged possession of around one kilogramme of cannabis and a small quantity of cocaine.

The two men were arrested on Saturday evening after members of the drug squad found in the car they were in 1,02kg of cannabis, around eight grammes of cocaine and €2,745 in cash.

Police are searching for the whereabouts of another man, 29, after securing a testimony implicating him in the case. During a search in the 29-year-old’s house police located a cannabis plant and cannabis seeds.
