Nicosia municipality announces first clean-up of 2019

The Nicosia municipality announced on Friday that the first clean-up campaign for 2019 will start next week. The free collection of trimmings and other large items of waste will begin on February 4 and last until March 23.

Residents should place items they want to be picked up outside their homes two days before the collection dates which are as follows:

Ayios Andreas (1): February 4 to 5,

Ayios Andreas (2):  February 6 to 7,

Ayios Andreas (3): February 8 to 11,

Trypiotis (1): February 12 to 13,

Trypiotis (2): February 14 to 18,

Ayios Omologites (1): February 19 to 21,

Ayios Omologites (2): February 22 to 26,

Ayios Omologites (3): February 27 to March 1,

Ayios Omologites (4): March 4 to 6,

Ayios Antonios (1):  March 7 to 12,

Ayios Antonios (2):  March 13 to 15,

Pallouriotissa (1): February14 to 16,

Pallouriotissa (2): February 20 to 22,

Pallouriotissa (3): February 5 to 7,

Pallouriotissa (4): February 8 to 13,

Within the Walls (1):  March 12 to 15,

Within the Walls (2): March 18 to 22,

Ayios Constantinos and Eleni (1): March 18 to 19,

Ayios Constantinos and Eleni (2): March 20 to 22,

Kaimakli (1): February 23 to 27,

Kaimakli (2): February 28 to March 2,

Kaimakli (3): March 5 to 6,

Kaimakli (4): March 7 to 9,

Kaimakli (5): March 12 to 15,

That-el-kale: March 22 to 23,

Yeni Mosque: March 20 to 21,

Omorphita:  March 16 to 19.

Trimmings should be separated from other waste for composting purposes.
