Man cut internet connection over health fears

Police in Paphos arrested a 39-year-old man on Monday suspected of cutting power to a wireless internet antenna because it was bad for people’s health.

Investigators were led to the suspect following a complaint. Questioned, the man said he had also sabotaged two more antennae.

He told police the reason was because he considered the operation of such antennae in residential areas to be bad for people’s health.
