Open Day at the French-Cypriot School of Nicosia

The school provides an education based on values such as cultural diversity

The French-Cypriot School of Nicosia (EFCN) is opening its doors to the public on Saturday, February 9 to all interested in learning more about its educational practices and operations, from kindergarten to graduation (baccalaureat), and also about higher education studies in France.
EFCN is a non-profit private school founded in 2012 by the French government on the basis of a bilateral agreement with the Cypriot government for the teaching of Greek language and Cypriot culture.
One of the school’s objectives is to provide an education based on values such as equality, humanism and cultural diversity. It encourages critical thinking, understanding, tolerance and co-existence.
The school is part of the International network of French schools AEFE (Agence pour l’enseignement francais a l’etranger) and follows the French educational curriculum, which gives our students the foundation for a true European culture and identity, and enables our graduates to access higher education and universities globally.
The main language of instruction is French, and students can choose between either French or bilingual academic programmes. In the bilingual programme, students are taught in both French and Greek. Additionally, all our students are taught English, and from the age of 12 they have the option to learn either German or Spanish.
We will have presentations by teachers, students and parents, guided tours of the premises, expositions and information about the extra-curricular activities offered by the school. Representatives from the French Institute and Campus France will be present to provide information on higher education studies in France, and all our staff will be happy to meet with you and explain the advantages and the benefits of the French educational system here at the EFCN, and answer your questions.
Last, but not least, there will be a special price for new student registrations made on Open Day!
You are all welcome!
