Woman’s body retrieved from sea off Aphrodite’s rock

A woman’s body was seen floating in the Aphrodite’s rock coastal area on Friday.

Police were alerted at around 5pm by a traffic officer on duty on the Limassol-Paphos highway, near the popular tourist spot.

Police went to the scene. The body was retrieved from the water after it was located with the assistance of marine police, while a fire truck was called to provide lighting to facilitate the search.
