Burglars steal jewellery worth 58,000 euros from Tala home

Paphos police are investigating a house burglary in Tala where jewellery and watches worth 58,000 euros were stolen, CNA reported on Sunday.

According to the report, at 7pm on Saturday a Norwegian homeowner in Tala reported that between 3.30pm and 6.30pm while he was absent, his house was broken into and items worth 58,000 euros were stolen.

These included a woman’s watch worth 5,000 euros, a man’s watch worth 22,000 euros, a second man’s watch worth 28,000 euros and a woman’s bracelet worth 3,000 euros.

Police went to the house and investigations showed the perpetrators had entered and exited through a sliding balcony door.
