The Yeroskipou municipality will be spending €500,000 for asphalting work in view of improving road networks damaged by Paphos sewerage board works dating back almost ten years.

Yeroskipou mayor, Michalis Pavlides, told the Cyprus News Agency (CNA) on Tuesday that the sum of €500,000 that has been allocated to asphalting work raises the total spent by the municipality to fix road networks damaged by works of the Paphos sewerage board during the years 2010, 2011, and 2012 to €2 million.

The work has already begun, Pavlides said, and is expected to be completed in 10 days. Asphalting work is being conducted on Rigenis, Alexandrou Panagouli, Christophoros Hadjilampri, Tefkrou, and Omirou streets, as well as on the road just after Rikkos beach, Pavlides said.
