Turkish Cypriot leader, Mustafa Akinci, said on Monday he discussed the Cyprus problem with Disy leader, Averof Neophytou, during dinner in Kyrenia.
Akinci said in a Facebook post on Monday evening that he had just hosted Neophytou in Kyrenia for dinner. Attending were also former chairman of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Phidias Pilides, and former chairman of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce, Fikri Toros.
“We exchanged useful opinions on the future of Cyprus before the meeting with Mr Anastasiades on February 26,” Akinci posted.
The two leaders are set to have an informal meeting, hosted by the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative in Cyprus, Elizabeth Spehar, at the Chief of Mission’s residence in the United Nations Protected Area in Nicosia.
