Kiosk robbed in Nicosia

A 37-year-old employee in a kiosk in Nicosia has reported to police that at around 11.30 on Wednesday night he was hit in the face by one of two people who entered the kiosk, who then stole €300 and fled on foot.

The 37-year-old was taken to Nicosia general hospital for examination.

One of the suspects is described as wearing a black hoodie and cap, aged 25-30, of normal build with a beard, and is about 1.85m tall. The other was wearing a white hoodie, the hood of which he used to cover his face, the same age and height.

Members of the police closed off the scene.
