Fork Food market returns

After two successful events in February, Fork Food market returns this month with another two nights of delicious street food. These will feature three brand new vendors along with some of the market’s loyal food stalls.

“Your [the public’s] support towards the idea of street food inspired us to organise two more amazing nights with quality food and quality fun,” say organisers. So, on Friday March 15 and 22 the Old Municipal Market in Nicosia will fill up with food stalls cooking away, while the bar will serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Last month’s menu included dumplings, a yellow lentil curry, burgers, bao buns and hot dogs among others. March’s food vendors have yet to be announced but the choice hasn’t disappointed so far. Food will be served until 11pm and the music will continue until midnight. And while you’re there you can browse through some of the shops that currently occupy the Old Municipal Market as part of the Agora Project.

And what’s more, the environmentally-friendly mindset of the market includes a discount to all those who bring their own cup for drinks. “A discount will also be given to those who return the plastic cups we provide, contributing to less usage of plastic,” adds the organising team.
