Nicosia with my husband and my two young men
Best childhood memory?
Back home in Zambia, swimming in the reservoir with my two brothers while Mum & Dad irrigated the citrus orchard
Most frequented restaurant and absolute favorite dish? What food would you really turn your nose up to?
Biriyani chicken is my favourite dish, prepared by my Aunt Olivia. I’m really not a fan of any dish with kidneys or liver

Organic oats, with the addition of some ground flax seeds and chia seeds, coconut milk and strawberries – and a coffee of cause
Would you class yourself as a day or night person? What’s your idea of the perfect night/day out?
I don’t think I can class myself as either. A perfect night or day out is one spent with people I love and the great friends I am blessed with. It is not where one goes it is who one is with.
Best book ever read?
I’m not really a book worm, I prefer listening to TedTalks, podcasts or watching documentaries
Favourite film of all time and why?
12 Years a Slave, because it portrays the reality of history
Best holiday ever taken? What’s your dream trip?
New York and Los Angeles, I would say Disneyland in LA with all the cartoon characters. It brought back childhood memories, and Universal Studios Hollywood theme park was just a once in a lifetime amazing experience.
I don’t have a dream trip, I have a dream bucket list: Costa Rica, Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Bali, Bahamas and the Maldives to name only a few ha! ha! ha!
What music are you listening to in the car at the moment?
What is always in your fridge?
Veggies, fruits, eggs & hot mango chutney
Dream house: rural retreat or urban dwelling? Where would it be, what would it be like?
Wooden cabin up in the mountains; small, quaint and cozy with a fire place for sure!
If you could pick anyone at all (alive or dead) to go out for the evening with, who would it be?
The late Maya Angelou because she was a profoundly learned woman and I would be so blessed to be in her presence and have an inspirational conversation with her.
If the world is ending in 24 hours what would you do?
Spend the best family time ever reminiscing on all the good times we have had, as well as ensure that I send ‘I love you’ messages to all my family and friends all over the world.
What is your greatest fear?
Fear of the unknown.
Tell me a joke…
