Brazen bar thieves nowhere to be found

POLICE are seeking two men suspected of a brazen smash-and-grab at a Limassol bar in the early morning hours of Monday.

The suspects have been identified only as being 39 and 28 years old, respectively.

According to a police bulletin, the two men, riding on a motorcycle drove into the foyer of the bar, which was open for business at the time.

They then used a metal bar to smash up the shop windows and equipment. The perpetrators also assaulted the two owners of the establishment.

After grabbing some €3,000 in cash, they fled the scene.
