Health ministry recalls batch of smoked salmon

The health ministry on Tuesday recalled a batch of smoked salmon slices after listeria was detected in the product.

The product was found to be unsuitable for consumption after Listeria monocytogenes was detected in the batch during lab tests of market samples.

The product’s details:
Barcode: 5291002000364
Weight: 100g
Sell by date: 22.03.2019

The company has already been alerted and has recalled the product in question but it may have already been bought by some consumers. Members of the public who may have the product in their possession are urged not to consume it and to return it to the shop they bought it from.
