Sunny weather is expected on Tuesday, but a low pressure system will bring more rain on Wednesday.

Early fog lifted on Tuesday morning and clear weather is forecasted to last until the afternoon when it will become mostly cloudy.

Temperatures will rise to a maximum of 21C inland, 19 near the coast and 14C in the higher mountains.

They will fall to 10C to 11C in most areas and 6C around Troodos at night.

On Wednesday fine weather will prevail in the morning, but scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are predicted for the afternoon and evening. Temperatures are expected to remain unchanged, slightly above average for this time of the year.

Clear skies are forecast for Thursday, with just a few clouds at intervals.

Some more rain may fall on Friday when it will be slightly cooler.

Early in the morning, the height of snow on Troodos square was 30 centimetres.
