Driver in Paralimni caught six times over the limit

A man in Paralimni was nabbed by police in the early hours of Wednesday driving six times over the limit.

Traffic police on routine patrol stopped the car shortly after midnight and ran a breathalyser test.

They said the 35-year-old tested at 130mg of alcohol instead of the legal limit of 22mg. However, his final blood test at the police station read 131mg.

He was charged and released.
